The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for updating, configuring, improving and providing expertise in the Ultimate software system for the Human Resources department. The position will support and administer the compensation, payroll, absence (including PTO plans), benefits (including integrations), and time tracking modules.
• Accurately and timely execute design, troubleshoot, upgrade, maintain and implement system capabilities for HRIS system for current and future company use
• Applies extensive configuration knowledge to architect solutions, considering all significant capabilities, features and functionality
• Monitors system functionality and performance to ensure standards are met
• Analyze and troubleshoot UltiPro-related issues through the application of root-cause analysis and resolve as necessary
• Lead and participate in the review, testing and implementation of bi-annual Ultimate (UltiPro) releases; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users
• Document all HRIS procedures and process
• Participate in weekly meetings to review current Workday roadmap, completed tasks on roadmap
• Research and participate in UltiPro’s community to resolve issues where answers are unknown and implement those solutions
• Will be required to work with staff, the HRIS vendor and other HR Technology vendors in integrating and maximizing HRIS functionality
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, information technology, computer science or similar related experience
• Prior experience working as a HRIS analyst.
• Understanding of multiple, modular objects and the messaging interface between objects to analyze moderately complex software packages
