qualified candidate will conduct training and organizational development activities to develop a highly engaged workforce. Recommend, develop, deliver, monitor and track training programs at various locations in the US – both classroom, e-Learning and blended learning sessions.
• Conducting needs analysis with company senior management to identify and define current and future training and development needs.
• Prepare hard copy, PC-based (including simulations, role plays, etc.), web-based material for new training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs and recommend appropriate revisions in a cost-effective manner including collaboration with Global Training & Development located in Switzerland.
• Coordinate company newsletter and related activities.
• This position may assist with other Human Resources programs and special projects as needed including succession planning process assisting senior management in identifying talent for key leadership roles.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (in instructional design, educational technology or similar) and 7-10 years of experience in training and organization development including experience in program design.
• Excellent knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Success Factors SAP, Microsoft Office and related.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, effective problem-solving skills, effective process management and analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills, participative management style and advocate of team concept, ability to research and design training programs, ability to develop and implement processes and create efficiencies.
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models, lesson and curriculum planning skills.
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
• Travel at least 20%.
