Our plant leadership team needs an HR partner who will bring strategy and structure to the supervisors and managers in our Waxahachie production facility. This HR Manager will drive business results implementing company HR objectives while enhancing the plant’s human resources. Use your customer focused mind-set and high levels of organization to lead the Waxahachie HR team supporting approximately 800 employees with emphases in training and development, employee relations and succession management.
Qualifications:
• Human resources experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
• Bilingual ability with English and Spanish
One of the following:
o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and four (4) years of progressive human resources experience
o High school diploma/equivalent and eight (8) years of progressive human resources experience
• Two (2) years of experience managing and developing a human resources staff
• Experience handling employee relation issues
• Solid experience in metrics and a general knowledge of principles/practices of HR Management
• Strong communication, organizational, managerial, platform and analytical skills
• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10% (travel is not the norm but may be required occasionally)
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
• Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
