The purpose of this position is for the department to be able to present the benefits of our products over our competitors to OEMs with the expectation of being awarded business. This position also allows the company to judge our technology, design manufacturing capabilities compared to the marketplace with expectations of improving where we are behind.
• Leads sunroof sales activities
• Performs benchmark activities on competitor products.
• Maintains benchmark data spreadsheet with updated information.
• Prepares presentations for OEMs detailing the difference in their products and the company’s.
• Prepares and leads meetings between R&D, Sales, Purchasing and the plant for benchmark reviews.
• Updates market research for like products.
• Researches our competitors and presents yearly update of what they are doing.
• Actively seeks new programs securing work for our mfg. sites.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to travel (domestic and international)
• Must hold and maintain current driver's license.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, Word and Power Point.
