Manages the Benefits and HRIS functions for the company, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Leads the annual renewal/negotiation process, researching and deploying strategies to achieve financial goals and best place to work level of benefits. Establishes and monitors adherence to departmental work plans to achieve goals, as well as operating standards to ensure efficient use of resources and that customer service expectations are met.
• Manages minimal staff, coaching this staff to achieve desired results, including hiring, conducting performance reviews.
• Develops budgets, analyze and report results on the fringe benefit budget, and conducts cost analyses on proposed benefit programs.
• Makes contributions to and leads other assigned Human Resources Department initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in business, HR, or other related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Have 10 years of benefits experience; heavy emphasis in benefit design, strategy, and administration preferred.
• Have leadership abilities, can communicate both verbal and written, have a professional attitude and appearance, a highly organized individual with a strong self-confidence, multi-task-oriented decision maker who can plan for success.
• Have strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel. PowerPoint will be useful;
• API Healthcare experience would be an asset.
